Youth Empowerment

Our Main Approach

Youth empowerment through sports can be a transformative approach to help young people develop essential life skills, build community, and foster personal growth. Here are some ways to empower youth through sports:

  • Provide opportunities: Offer a variety of sports to participate in, including football, basketball, tennis, and more.
  • Create a safe space: Provide a platform for young people to express themselves.
  • Encourage participation: Let young people choose which sport they want to play, and encourage them to participate in decision-making.
  • Develop leadership skills: Support young people’s leadership development and encourage them to be agents of change.
  • Educate: Provide non-formal educational activities, such as seminars and workshops, on topics like healthy living, hygiene, and environmental protection.
  • Celebrate: Set goals with young people and celebrate when they are reached.
  • Be supportive: Praise effort and be present.
  • Promote physical health: Sports can help keep kids active and fit, which can benefit their physical and mental health.
  • Build community: Sports can help young people create bonds that foster mutual respect and understanding.

How We Do It

The organization has been working with youth groups to identify their talents through sports during the long holidays. This is conducted according to their ages by establishing youth camps where they conduct dramas, songs and all sorts of sports activities. These activities prevent the youths from bad elements and behaviors to keep a healthy society.
