We are a community CBC/8-4-4 school in Kenya located in Sigoti in Nyakach Sub County of Kisumy county. Our 18years of service has seen us reach so many academic heights and success. We take pride in our unique offering that presents learners and teachers with an experience that is rare to find in many local schools.
St Benedette is a Christian based institution providing Christian Education to children. The school opened her doors in 2006 with 25 students doing ACE curriculum and the number has grown since then. It starts at Beginners Class (age 3-4) up to Grade 9 . It caters for both boys and girls
Our teachers and students are equipped with skills and knowledge that come in handy in meeting learning needs of the 21st Century. We go beyond producing academically competent students (which is part of our culture) and also bring up socially responsible and culturally sensitive individuals who are truly global citizens.
From the Director’s Desk
Welcome everyone to our school, St. Benedette Junior School. Our School started in 2006 as a nursery school with 5 pupils and a few staff. We want to thank God for the steady growth of the school from that initial class of 5 to now a school with the kindergarten section, Primary Section and now Junior Secondary with a population of over 500 pupils and above with over 60 staff in both academic and administration. As a school we give all the glory and honor to God for his guidance and sustained blessings that has brought us this far!
St. Benedette Junior School is a Christian school that aims to instill Christian values and provide quality all round education to our pupils. The school undertakes the 844 curriculum and the CBC curriculum. As St. Benedette we endeavor to attain our very best as espoused in our motto of ‘Excellence’. Our goal has always been to bring up our learners to be all round and to excel not only academically but also physically, spiritually and socially. This we do by nurturing talent in our learners to promote sporting prowess, creativity, innovation and encourage service to God and community.

The school is admitting learners from Play Group to any other grades. We are admitting both beginners and from other schools (transfer).

- Birth Certificate
- Assessment Book
- Assessment Number (from Grade 3)
- Letter of transfer from the former school
- UPI Number (if already registered in Nemis)
- Kpsea Result Slip (for JSS)
The school does well in academics both from the Zonal level to National level.
Our first candidate class to sit for the national exams (Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) was in the year 2014. Since then the school has been presenting candidates for the same upto the end of 8.4.4 system of education.
With the introduction of the new system of education (CBC), the school is equally doing well in nurturing learners holistically. We have been presenting candidates of KPSEA since it's onset in 2022. In Junior Secondary, the school is partnering with the neighbouring secondary schools for practical classes.
