Water Sanitation & Hygiene

Our Main Approach

We are committed to promoting WASH practices and enhancing access to safe water and sanitation facilities, thereby improving health outcomes and fostering resilient communities living in healthy environments:

How We Do It.

Unsafe drinking water remains a primary cause of malnutrition and mortality among children under five (5) years, underscoring the urgent need for safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices. Clean water not only reduces waterborne diseases but also enhances school and work attendance, enabling families to lead healthier and more productive lives.

The area has a water springs which is located in very difficult terrain. It has been the plan of the organization to tap the water by channeling it into a reservoir where it can then be taken to common station within the reach of the community. However, the organization is currently working on enhancement of rain water harvesting for its members and community through a joint purchases of water tanks and gutter fixing for those with iron roofed houses.
