Food Security

Our Main Approach

As MC Lianne Community Based Organization  (CBO), Our food security initiatives are structured around training farmers and knowledge to acquire quality farm inputs.

How We Do It.

Food insecurity lies at the heart of food crises and emergencies, serving as an underlying cause of malnutrition, morbidity and mortality. It jeopardizes livelihoods, leading to decreased self-sufficiency and long-term damage. Addressing food insecurity is essential for ensuring the overall well-being and resilience of communities.

We as MC Lianne CBO collaborate with local based farming projects to provide farmers with skills in enhancing their production through training, acquisition of quality seed and market for their produce. The main crops under this program have been maize, beans and onions.
