MC Lianne is an indigenous Community Based Organization working in Upper Nyakach Division, Nyakach Sub County in Kisumu County, Kenya. The organization is fully registered under the laws and regulations of the republic of Kenya, with its offices in Sigoti Centre. Its aim is to harness and develop the power of young people, by effectively involving them in direct implementation of the core activities that develops their skills enabling them become self-reliance and sustainable people in the community service and development. We engage young people in a constructive manner enabling them to use their initiative and build their ideas. The organization brings together ideas and resources to find solutions to critical development challenges facing the society especially on the education of the girl child and many other children orphaned by HIV and AIDS. The organization works with the communities in rural settings in developing workable initiatives to promote sustainable livelihoods and to ensure environmental sustainability. We create sharing platforms that enable local groups, learning institutions, corporate entities, local communities and individuals to share ideas on education, health, capacity building sustainable development.
